FreeSat
Freesat is a brand new satellite digital TV service from the BBC and ITV. Not
only does it include TV channels but it also includes radio channels. From our
last count, there was over 90 channels to choose from depending upon your
location.
You will need one of the following to connect:
- FreeSat digital box
- FreeSat HD digital box
- TV with Freesat HD built in (IDTV)
- HD digital TV recorder (DTR) - coming soon
Providing you have a working satellite dish, there is no more expense. If you
don't, then you will need to arrange an installation package which costs around
£80.
There is no monthly contracts, no subscriptions and no further payments to be
made.
Should you need more channels, you can always enter into a contract with Sky to
add to your channel selection.
